VINTAGE PHILIPPINE ISLANDS IRON PANABAS SWORD ... This is from the estate of a collector. All I had to go on was a worn paper tag that identified it as a Panabas sword from the Philippine Islands. From the research I was able to do online these swords started out as  agricultural tool and became a weapon. The handle looks to have been replaced.
I'm starting it as an auction so bidders will know ore about it  than I do, It just had a great look to cool to leave behind. The total length is 24" with an 8" handle I see no markings. Take a good look at the pictures they are the best description
