This is a beautifulLy Incised vietnamese ly dynasty porcelain bowl (1009 - 1225)

Height 1-3/4 “
This bowl is from the Ly dynasty of Vietnamese culture. Having a beautiful incised decoration on the inside cavetto. Mostly a cream color glazing with hints of green . This foot rim is In excellent condition. This porcelain bowl is a 1000 year old piece. This rim has a few very small nicks yet is also in fine condition.
This bowl originates from northern Vietnam where many of the kiln sites of this time were located.
The Ly Dynasty was established by Ly’ Cong Uan
When he overthrew the early Le dynasty and ended when Ly Chieu Hoang ( then 8 years old) was forced to abdicate the throne in favor of her husband Tran Cahn.
During Ly Thanhs Tong’s reign, the official name of state was changed from Dai Co Việt to
Dai Việt.
