Thailand Hill Tribe "Akha" Shaman Exorcist Magic Wand - circa early 20th.

Description

This is a very rare Thailand Hill Tribe "Akha" Shaman's / Witchdoctor's wand used during exorcism.
It dates from the very early 20th century.....they don't make these anymore.
The Exorcist's wand is composed of.....a sacred old stick around which cotton or plant fiber twine is coiled around almost the entire length of the wand, and, finally it's coated with a sacred type of dark reddish lacquer.
Atop the wand is a crouching mythical Demon Tiger like creature.......some holes are present in the mouth, ears and legs of the beast  - a cord, or two, would've passed trough them for hanging the object around the Shaman's neck, or, in his dwelling, when not in use.
This is very rare object; this is only the third one (and the best one) that I've seen in my 20+ years of collecting/dealing in rare tribal artifacts.
The length is almost 17 inches.
