    Description

    Ancient Ban Chiang (Northern Thailand) Neolithic Period (1000-500 B.C.) footed pottery jar of globular form with flared rim and incised textural patterning. The piece has a lovely array of reds, oranges, white and a bluish cast. This piece is a part of a collection that dates back to 1968-1970, and was gifted to Paul Haig.
    Faint hairline fracture on the inside lip of the jar, does not reach the surface. Imperfections commensurate with age.
