This is an incredible ANTIQUE condiment box/covered dish, from the SAWANKHALOK kilns, THAILAND; 15
th
century. It has a beautiful shouldered globular form with a domed top, bud-shaped finial, with iron brown underglaze saw teeth decoration on the edge of the lid and top of the base. The interior of the bottom and under side of the lid are unglazed. This fabulous dish measures approximately 4 ½” covered and 3” uncovered; 6” wide. It is overall fine condition; one certainly for the collector!
