For your consideration, a Moro Kris of Maranao origin.
The blade has 15 luk’s or waves. The blade has been aggressively cleaned by a previous owner. I have lightly sanded and etched it. It’s a nice blade otherwise. It’s missing both clamps.
The hilt is loose and will come off with little effort. The ferrule seems to be brass. The pommel of Banati wood with flashing grains has some loss but it’s not distracting. The hilt blade combination is believed to be around the mid 19th century manufacture.
The scabbard has a tape?, attached to the side with a date of 1904 written on it. There are other writings that can’t be deciphered.
