This sacred See-Hu-Ha-Ta (also known as Phra Indra) is made from sacred KalaiThong/KalaiNak materials. Featuring sacred yants on the See-Hu-Ha-Ta body and series number at bottom. Supplied with temple box. See-Hu-Ha-Ta is the legendary mystical beast-form of Phra Indra, the Heavenly King. According to old legend, Phra Indra came down to earth and transformed himself into a monkey-like beast with 4 ears and 5 eyes to help a hardworking farmer he spotted from the heavens.
But first, he wanted to test the farmer and ate all his harvest and destroyed his field. The farmer was very angry and captured See-Hu-Ha-Ta. However, out of compassion, he did not kill him. Instead, he offered him food and also started a fire to keep the beast warm.
When he came back to see See-Hu-Ha-Ta, he was shocked to see him eating the burning coals and excreting gold nuggets! He became very rich thereafter with See-Hu-Ha-Ta’s miracle.
Fours Ears represents Metta, Karuna, Mudita and Upekha. Five Eyes represents Na, Mo, Pood, Tha, Yahk All these are great elements of Metta and Universal Love/Compassion. If the farmer had killed the beast out of revenge, he would never have reaped the riches from See-Hu-Ha-Ta’s miracle. The eating of burning coals also symbolises the hardships of life which we have to endure before reaping the pot of gold from our efforts.
