A gorgeous Sawankhalok pear-shaped vase, stoneware body decorated in underglaze Iron black, with a very curious design which appears to be eyes, but are likely a depiction of some type of foliage.
Thai, Sawankhalok, dating from the late 14th through 15th century, (1350 - 1500 CE).
Overall, very good condition. Chip out of the footring on base. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
