Indonesian; Java; Kris (or Keris) Dagger Handle - Serpent Demon.....circa 1700s

This is an exceptionally rare and very old....Kris / Keri handle...easily a 1700s specimen....it's one of the oldest of handles on the planet....!!!
Look at all the innumerable age cracks on the head of the Serpent Demon/ Deity.
Absolutely natural golden brown aged hue and patina.......Those of you who are very familiar with Kris/Keris handles should know the material of this...
The inset single eye is water buffalo h*rn.... other eye fell out ages ago.
If you are a serious collector of Keris handles and looking for one of the oldest extant - this is it!
Measures almost 5 inches in length.....
Keris handles are one of the most beautiful tribal objects - one of my favorites.
A really nice specimen....that looks 1000x times better in person!!!
