    ORIGINAL ANTIQUE WOOD AND IRON HUGE CHEST TRUNK FROM SIR LANKA.
    A huge original antique dated Dutch Colonial Oak and Iron Open Top Trunk. This Astounding 100 Year Old Survivor of Sri Lanka chest is a Very Large at 69 1/2” Wide, by 37 1/2” High, and 36" Deep. It weighs in excess of 500 pounds with its enormous feet. All of the original Hand Forged Iron work is present and intact including the original hinges and two brass keys, The wood is Solid and Strong and the Trunk itself is very sturdy, Strong and Rock Solid with very large chunky legs! The Floor on the inside of the Trunk is intact and solid .
    One can only wonder at the provenance of this Stunning piece. You can imagine what this Oak and Iron Dome-top Trunk and has seen in it’s day.! Was it owned by some famous king. Whoever owned it must have been very rich in those days to afford such an Incredible One of a Kind Museum Piece that will be a Monumental Showpiece!!!
