Genuine Siberian Woolly Mammoth Hair Extracted From The Permafrost in Yakutia, Near the Village of Chersky, Russia. The woolly mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius) is an extinct species of mammoth that lived during the Pleistocene until its extinction in the early Holocene epoch.The woolly mammoth was roughly the same size as modern African Elephant. The woolly mammoth coexisted with early humans, who used its bones and tusks for making art, tools, and dwellings, and the species was also hunted for food. It disappeared from its mainland range at the end of the Pleistocene 10,000 years ago. We import this Authentic & rare hair direct from the Russian digger who communicates to us that he is very limited in available time to dig in the perma frost in Yakutia. He digs only from June to September due to the extreme cold. This Hair was dug and thawed in 2018. It is up to 10,000 years old.This is an example of a nice clump-not a single strand or two!
