Collinite 845 Liquid Insulator Wax was originally developed for use by electric companies for protection against high voltage power failure, fires and explosions. They soon realized that a product that provides such a high level of protection under these extreme conditions would also provide maximum protection and durability on automotive and marine surfaces. Liquid Insulator Wax offers a unique combination of high gloss shine, ease-of-use and long-lasting weather defense that's ideal for protection against blazing summer sun or winter ice and road salt.

You'll get the benefit of liquid wax application along with paste wax durability. Insulator Wax leaves behind a carnauba shine and durable protection that preserves the finish and shields against the elements. It protects against UV, rain, snow, salt, dust, dirt, grime, bugs, staining and more.
Insulator Wax is a versatile product for cars, trucks, boats, bikes, RVs, aircraft, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, ATVs, tractor/farm equipment, golf carts and snowplows. Collinite No. 845 Liquid Insulator Wax can be applied to just about anything with smooth surfaces that need protection including; exterior gel coat, fiberglass, clear coat, single stage paints, lacquer paints and highly finished wood. Liquid Insulator Wax isn't a metal polish but once your metals are clean and polished you can seal in the shine on chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, and brass with Insulator Wax too. However, it's not recommended for rubber, non-skid, black trim, vinyl, glass or non-painted plastic surfaces.
Shake bottle well before using and work in a well-ventilated area. Surface should feel lukewarm to the touch. Apply thin, even amount of Liquid Insulator Wax onto to clean, smooth surface in larger than 2' x 2' sections at a time. You can apply by hand with a foam or microfiber applicator pad or with a dual action polisher equipped with a finishing pad. Once the Insulator Wax begins to dry to a haze, remove the residue by polishing with a microfiber or cotton towel.
