Photo was taken on Lee's back porch in Richmond, one week after the surrender at Appomattox and is the last time Lee wore his uniform. Photo taken by Alexander Gardener. Man with the black hat is Lee's aid Col. Walter Taylor The other gentleman is Lee's oldest son who was also on Lee's staff.  Thank you.
