c.1400 Annamese Vietnam Ceramic Blue and White Antique Cup Bowl Annam Flower

Description

An antique Annamese blue and white ceramic cup or small bowl dating to the late 14th to early 15th century. With a floral design and characteristic brown stained base.
Condition:
- Glaze degradation around rim and part of outer wall. Surface is rough where glaze is degraded. It was probably partially buried with the rim exposed to the elements.
- Glaze crackles
- General wear and scratches consistent with age
Measures about 8.7cm across, 5.1cm tall.
