    Antique Betel nut bronze container Islamic Phillipines pre colonial.  5" x 2" x 2.25 "   very heavy Betel nut container used in 19th c  to keep betel nut wrapped. nuts were  used as destressor similiar to cocaine use..before advent of tobacco and nicotine..originated in Phillipines possibly. 3 compartments missing lids.. handmade..other ingredients were stored in the box that you chewed with betel nut  like slaked line and the leaves. ..interesting artifact..you could store your jewels in it too..
