Authentic ART DECO Sterling Silver Hand-Carved Shell Cameo Necklace w/Marcasites

This is an authentic ART DECO sterling silver linked flexible chain necklace with a permanently attached hanging, very decorative hand-carved shell cameo
.  The necklace measures about 19-20" long and features three attached marcasites, each sitting within it's own small round silver bezel.  Also, you see many many teeny-tiny sterling silver beads linked to the necklace & to the cameo.  Be sure to view all photos with this listing.
The shell cameo itself is prong-set and surrounded by a beaded circle - and the beaded circle is within a beaded square.  Also, there's more marcasites and decorative touches throughout the hanging cameo pendant.

The cameo is relatively small but expertly hand-carved.  It measures barely
⅝" down by about
½" across.  The setting is slightly larger, 1" down by about
¾" across

The cameo is signed (stamped)
STERLING
on the underside, but time and usage have faded the stamping somewhat.  You can see it in the last or eighth photo with this listing.  Overall condition is VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT.  There's some small usage marks and only minimal amounts of patina, probably from age, but all on the underside of the cameo pendant.  And, the cameo itself is perfect.  You can begin wearing this cameo necklace as soon as you remove it from its wrappings.
