Collector’s estate find: an amazing antique peranakan Malay silver brooch/pin!
The pin hook string can no longer hold the pin, so it’s loose. I am not a jeweler, so not attempt to fix it. Experience jeweler maybe able to fix it. Or it can easily convert to a pendant. Nonetheless it’s an oldie. The motif is likely a wedding scene. Some photos are taken with magnified lens to show the expression of each character and coconut trees.
