We are selling this early Sumatran Keris sword. This kris dagger has early 17th or 18th century carved Benkulu style Jawan Denman figure most likely from the Island of Sumatra. The handle is mounted on an old 17th or 18th century blade with nice variegation in color. The scabbard was wrapped with quality silver work that has tarnished and has some tears.
Condition: Some heavy age related wear. The silver on the scabbard has some heavy tearing.
