We are selling this exceptional Keris or Kris dagger example. This Indonesian Pelambang Keris comes from the island of Sumatra. The abstracted bird figure known as a Suasa Pendok handle. The scabbard for this sword is very fine as well with repousse silver cover. The blade is of simple old wavey form but is still very sharp. We believe this Keris to be early to mid 19th century, possibly 18th.
