    Description

Originally purchased new in 2008 from a Volvo dealership for my grandmother. Needless to say she has put little mileage on it since it only has a current odometer reading of 44,839! Now I have it and am in need of selling it in order to help out a family member get a van.
There are scuffs and scratches from normal wear and tare - and since it's been my grandmothers car there are a few dings from opening the door into something along its over 10 year history. But its not bad at all for being that old. Most 2008 S60's are in the 80k+ odometer mile range. But realistically its hard to find one that, in this kind of condition, that's not over 100k+ miles.
The color of the car is a maroon-red (crimson maybe?) color but in the images it looks more darkish-red.
There is one thing that needed to be fixed once I had the car. The moon roof cover is no longer there due to it being rotten. It was removed and had the darkest legally tenting put on the sunroof glass. This does surprising well at keeping the sun off your head - especially if you are bald like me! I have not seen any leaks due to removing the cover. The moon roof opens and closes just fine.
From time to time it reads there is a evap leak. This turns out to just be the gas cap not sealing tight enough as it should. The sensor will pick it up every once and awhile. Never got around ordering the replacement gas cap so the original one is still on there. This also happens when the "time for regular maintenance" message comes up on the screen. There is a way of resetting it yourself though which I have already done.
The TPMS works but seems a sensor is malfunctioning/going bad on one of the tires. This also pops up the message every once and awhile.
The outside-back left and right side around the bumper is scratched where it took off some of the paint. More so on the drivers side of the bumper but nothing major. There are a few wear/minor scratches on both sides of the car and naturally in the front. Again, nothing too major.
The car is 100% non-smoker driven. It also is 100% stock. No aftermarket modifications have been done.
The driver leather seat is showing some wear around where you enter and exit the car - this is normal with leather but still in really good condition.
The inside driver door handle has been rubbed pretty good due to my grandmothers rings.
The CD/radio works just fine as well as all the speakers. The A/C is cold as well. The driver and passenger both have their own control over temperature.
The back leather seats are pretty much untouched so they are in really good condition.Inside the trunk there is a stain of some kind but I have no idea of how it got there. Should come up though pretty effortlessly.
Inside the glovebox you will find the original car user manual.
    Airbags never have been deployed.
The automatic can also be used as a stick shift moving the stick to the side and push it up/down. On the dash it will display what gear you are in. The "W" button you see in the image puts the car in winter/wet driving mode. Transmission works great and shifts smooth. You can also hear the turbo spool up.
Carpets are quite nice. I've never washed them - just vacuumed. I do not see any hard stains on any of them (except the trunk as explained above).
The steering wheel controls work just fine. Along with the cruise control.
Headliner is in good shape. Little discolored around the visor on the driver side of course. The back seat passengers have their own dedicated air vent which is nice.
Headlights, both low and high beam, work as they should. The lower fog lights also work. All turn blinker/backup lights work. Both driver side and passenger side have heated seats.
Both have the options of heating the back or both the back and bottom of the seat which is really nice on cold days.
All door windows are working - rolling them down and up with the buttons.
Side mirrors electronic moving up/down/left/right work.
Oll has been changed every 4-5K miles. Just recently got it changed prior to placing it up for sale.
I have the title in hand along with 2 "switch blade style" original car keys/fobs - unlocks door, panic alarm and opens the trunk. The yellow circle you see turns on the interior lights and also the headlights for you to find your car easier.
All of what I have said above can be found in the images I posted. Bear in mind that most of these pictures were taken on a cloudy day and with the car not being wash.
I have a few though of the overall car when i did get around to washing it. The engine bay has never been washed.I have tried my best to be detailed about all I know about the car in my 2 year-ish of having it. If something above does not already answer your questions then feel free to send me a question and ill do my best to answer it.
I can provide a Carfax for this car in PDF form if needed. I also have all high-res pics total of 43, Can send you the link if requested.
