1400s Annam Cover Box Vietnam Cosmetic Powder Ceramic Blue and White Antique

Description

An Annamese blue and white cover box dating to the mid-late 15th century. Possibly used to contain cosmetics or other personal objects in the past. Similar found in the Hoi an shipwreck.
Condition:
- Cracks to the side of the lid (refer to pictures)
- Lid and base glaze colors don't match perfectly, but size-wise they fit fairly well
- Scratches and general wear from age and use
Measures about 7.5cm across.
